Gella Vandecaveye 

Former Belgian Olympic women's judo player. She suffered a serious tibia injury during the match, but made a spectacular recovery. Won a bronze medal at the Sydney Olympics.

After retiring, She was active as a cyclist. She also works as a sports commentator.

The other day, former coach Mr.Eddy Vinckier came to Japan, and I, Nobumasa Hayakawa, met again for the first time in 10 years. When I asked, "What is she doing now?", he replied, "She has started a renovation business and is engrossed in it." He showed me some pictures.
